Pretty & Polished Phat Camp

Wow! I have been away from my blog for over a month! Sorry for the hiatus, my kids are out of school for Summer Vacation and I am just spending as much time with them as I can until they have to go back :) Today I have the lovely Phat Camp from Pretty & Polished to show you. A lovely friend of mine in my nail polish swap group bought me OPI Purple With A Purpose for my birthday last month. I wore PPWAP for two whole days and did not want to take it off so I decided to to a little glitter gradient with the Phat Camp that I just got! As you can see, these two are pretty much a match made in polish heaven! What do you think if this combo? Do you love it as much as I do? Enjoy! XOXOXO~Rach

Essie Bikini So Teeny {and my shorties}

A quick post to show off my new shorties :( I had to cut them down after too many breaks. I swore I would not show them until they grew a bit but I HAD to show you this gorgeous polish combo I am wearing! I bought Essie Bikini So Teeny at Target the other day, I had been waiting for this gorgeous color to hit the shelves ever since I saw it on their FB page a few months ago. The color is so amazing but I was a little disappointed that the shimmer in the bottle did not show up too well on the nail. So I pulled out my trusty China Glaze Snow Cap and used that as a top coat and WOW! what a gorgeous combo! I could not stop staring at my nails for the two days I was wearing it! I know most people recommend dark colors on shorter nails, but I have to say that I was loving this lighter color on my shorties! Enjoy! XOXOXO~Rach

Sinful Colors Mint Apple w/ Frenzy On Top!

My best friend came up with this combo a couple of years ago, I always get tons of compliments on it when I wear it. This is Sinful Colors Mint Apple with Sinful Colors Frenzy on top. Mint Apple is a shimmery mint green and Frenzy is a purple and teal glitter and I think this is a match made in polish heaven! I also have to say that the wear time with the Sinful Colors is pretty darn amazing for a $2 bottle of polish! 3 days and not even any tip wear! What are some of your favorite funky combos? Enjoy! Candeo Colors Divebomb!

I picked up a few Candeo Colors during one of her openings recently, and this one is Divebomb. Divebomb is a multi-colored glitter best used as a top coat on another polish. I chose to use it over my OPI I Have A Herring Problem {Holland Collection} mani that I had put on the day before. I love the way this mani turned out! The blue base with the gorgeous aqua, blue and bronze glitter really sings on my nails! What do you guys think? Do you love Divebomb? Do you have any Candeo Colors? Do you plan to own some? Enjoy! Orly Royal Navy

today I have a gorgeous polish I got in a swap from my FB group. Orly Royal Navy is a stunning and breathtaking bright royal blue with gorgeous shimmer. This shade of blue makes me so happy and I just could not stop staring at my nails while I was wearing it. Kiko 255

I received two lovely Kiko polishes from a sweet girlie in my nail polish group on Facebook. She picked this beauty out for me because she knew I loved purple! 255 is  dark purple jellyish base with holographic micro glitter.  Because of the jelly quality of this polish, I used 3 coats to get it totally opaque. I am sorry my camera cannot capture how truly gorgeous this polish is :( This is definitely a polish i see myself wearing more than once it is so gorgeous! Enjoy XOXOXO~ Rach

Some Quick Nail Art!

I used China Glaze Sexagon for the first time the other day and one the third day I decided to do a little nail art! This design is inspired by the lovely and talented Nailside. She calls this design "clouds", you can see her version of it and a tutorial HERE. Mine is not as great, it is hard to get the edges to be really round like hers. I think I did a pretty good job! The colors I used: base is China Glaze Sexagon, then I used OPI A Grape Fit!, then comes Kiko 383 {which is actually a deep teal but ended up looking navy on top of the purple! Finally I used Pretty & Polished Party On My Yacht to add a little "frosting" to the tips! What do you guys think? Have you tried "cloud" nails? Enjoy! XOXO~Rach

Flormar U18

Today I have a real beauty to show you! My dear friend Kati from the Netherlands sends me these gorgeous Flormars that she got from another friend in Spain! I feel so lucky to have such wonderful and sweet polish friends. Flormar U18 is a purple and gold duochrome foil polish that shifts from gold to purple. It is absolutely stunning and my meager pictures do not even do it justice. Take a look at the pics and see for yourself!

NVL~Flying Blue Jay

My lovely friend Amy from Nail Venturous Lacquers made this gorgeous polish you see here! Her polishes are in high demand and her Etsy store usually sells out within minute of opening! I was quick enough to grab this lemming of mine last time her store was open. Flying Blue Jay is a deep, royal blue jelly base with blue microglitter and 2 sizes of white hexagonal glitter. The result is fabulous! The white glitter looks like it is floating inside the blue base, it is absolutely stunning! I have worn this polish for nearly 4 whole days with absolutely no chipping and very minuscule tip wear. Do you have any NVL? Do you plan on buying anything when her store re-opens? Enjoy! XOXOXO~Rach
